New British Biographies Relating to the Ancient World

A new set of biographies have been published by the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography (January 2009).

These include:

• (Anna) Mary Hawthorn Kitson Clark, [married name Mary Chitty] (1905–2005), archaeologist
• Fox [née Henderson], Aileen Mary, Lady Fox (1907–2005), archaeologist
• McCrum, Michael William (1924–2005), classicist
