Professor David Breeze, former Chief Inspector of Ancient Monuments at Historic Scotland and known to many for his work on Roman frontier systems, has been awarded an OBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours List (June 13, 2009).

I understand that in building Hadrian's wall, the stone masons used the Lewis to raise heavy stone to their proper settings. If this is indeed the case, could you possibly provide me with a site where this is explained in detail, with diagrams, drawings, etc. I have a very particular interest in the lewis (tool) and require more information to enable me to complete my project.
